This course is comprised of two sections: 

Surgical Management of the Unstable Shoulder

Mr Khalid Mohammed (Shoulder and Upper Limb Specialist) presents on "Surgical Management" of the unstable shoulder. 

This section covers:

  • Pathoaetiology and injury mechanisms in traumatic shoulder instability
  • Clinical examination
  • Imaging
  • Surgical decision-making
  • Surgical techniques & outcomes
  • Post-operative rehabilitation & return-to-sport considerations.

Post-Operative Management of the Unstable Shoulder

Dr Angela Cadogan (Physiotherapy Specialist) presents the post-operative rehabilitation of the unstable shoulder.

This section covers rehabilitation following:

  • Arthroscopic labral repair
  • Latarjet procedure
  • Return to sport considerations
