Hear a panel discussion with Physio Academy instructors and Specialist Physiotherapists on the past, present and future of post-professional physiotherapy education. Are we keeping up with changing healthcare roles and learning needs?

To celebrate the first year of Physio Academy, our panel of Specialist Physiotherapy instructors take a look at the past, present and future of post-professional physiotherapy education to explore the gaps, challenges and possible future directions.

With the rise of university-based post-graduate education, entry-level masters and doctorate programmes, technological advances, the evolving role of physiotherapy in healthcare and changes in learner preferences, we ask our panel: are we keeping pace with change and producing fit-for-purpose physiotherapists?

Join us live and have your say. What are your frustrations, barriers and preferences for post-professional learning. What is missing from post-professional education? When, how and where do you prefer to learn?  If you are a business owner, where are the common ‘gaps’ in staff knowledge and skill? How can we help you to upskill your staff?

What will be covered?

  • The Past: Clinician educators
  • The Present: Are academic qualifications & podcasts enough?
  • The Future: Developing “Fit for Purpose” Physiotherapists.
  • Audience Discussion: How Can We Help?

Study time: 1 hour approximately.
